sick little girl

Poor Little Ivy!  She woke up this morning and was totally fine.  I took her to the daycare and they called around 10:30 saying she had a fever.  I met her and DaDa at the doctor's office in the afternoon.  He thinks she has the flu, but she had the flu shot so we aren't really sure.  Anyways, her fever is now down and that makes it all better!  Keeping fingers crossed for a couple of snow days within the next few days!

21 Months Old

Yesterday Ivy turned 21 months old!  She is wearing size 24 months and pushing a 2T.  She wears size 5 Pampers and size 6 in shoes.  I'm not sure about her weight but she now grows at a snail's pace so that probably hasn't changed much in a while.  She LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and any Disney movie we show her. She plays well alone with her kitchen and has the best temper.  When she pitches a fit it only lasts a couple of minutes then she hugs and is over it.  Favorite foods are Apple Jacks and Bugles every now and then ha.

Bow Hair

We had to wait a LONG time for Ivy to get some hair.  It was a few months after her first birthday, but now it is growing and we don't really know what to do with it!  She loves having hair bows in since we started watching Minnie's Bowtique over and over and over.  But instead of calling them "hair bows" she asks for "bow hairs"!  In this pic- this was after the "bow hairs" were taken out!  Her hair managed to stand straight up!

First Barbie

My BFF Melissa got Ivy her FIRST BARBIE!  How hoochie is this Barbie?!?!?  I think she is great haha!  Ivy is obsessed with brushing her hair.

Christmas Eve Morning

Ivy was a bit overwhelmed Christmas morning to say the least.  She was not quite sure which toy to play with first.  She wanted to clean out her shopping cart then had to sit and take a break.

Neti Pot

I have had a Neti Pot for a few months now and can say that as nasty and awkward as it is- it truly cleans our your sinuses.  I had the opportunity to try it out on a real sinus infection this past week and it has worked so far.  As you can see, Ivy decided to try it out for herself ha!

Typical Toddler

I was so excited about the supper I cooked tonight.  It was a total pain!  I fried quail, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and cooked green beans in the crockpot all day. I even tried out Paula Dean's Cheese Biscuits!  Anywho- I fixed Ivy's plate and this is all she ate- THE MAC AND CHEESE!  I guess this is her way of proving to me that no matter how long I breastfed, made homemade baby food, she can now make some decisions for herself and eating her veggies was not one of them!
